Get to Know my life

When I was younger, I used to go to parks and other places with her and play with her. However, I had a disease called childhood asthma, so when that developed, I was at home watching DVDs with my sister.
My grandparents’ house is in Kyoto, a world-class tourist attraction, and we always took shinkansen there for major holidays. Kyoto has famous and traditional temples and shrines, and I always felt at home there. However, a few years ago, my grandfather died of cancer. It was the first time that I had happened to anyone close to me and, it made me realize the transience of life.
My family all love to travel, and since I was a little boy, I have been taken to various places in Japan, the U.S., Singapore, and many other places. I went scuba diving in Hawaii, visited my favorite movie locations in San Francisco, stayed at a famous hotel in Singapore and much more. And I was taught how big the world is by going to different parts of the world. My parents taught me how big the world is by taking me to different places around the world. That experience has led me to study in the United States now. I will never forget the impact I felt when I first left Japan and traveled to the United States. I was shocked to see with my own eyes that there were people of different races and speaking different languages. These experiences have led to my current study abroad experience in the United States.
I  have been playing golf since I was a little boy under the influence of my father. At first, playing golf was just tiring and uninteresting but as I got better at it, I realized how fun it was and now it is my only hobby. In middle school, there was no golf club, so my friends and I joined the badminton club. I was no strong enough to play singles, so I decided to play doubles. I had only ever played golf, so this was my first time playing a sport where I had to cooperate with others to compete. The experience of getting together with my pair and practicing badminton every day was very exciting and fun for me, and I had a very fulfilling junior high school and high school life.   As a result, we were able to win the district championship in our last high school tournament. Also, I am still in contact with the person I was paired with doubles for 6 years and he is my best friend. I learned the importance of working wit others to accomplish something.

When I was senior year of high school, I had to decide about my career path. The question was whether to go on to a Japanese university or study in the Unite States. I had wanted to study abroad in the United States based on the experiences I had had abroad. However, I was not sure if my parents would agree with me or not, so it was difficult for me to tell them about that. While all my friends around me were going to universities in Japan, I was worried about being the only one to study abroad. However, my parents agree with my decision and are always supportive of me.
